The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID), formerly the ECOWAS Fund, is a strategic institution driving economic growth in West Africa. It supports member states through major projects in agriculture, industrial transformation, energy, health, and the environment.
With more than 4 billion dollars invested, EBID focuses its limited resources on initiatives that deliver high impact and rapid results. A key priority is the development of the West Africa region by promotion of local production and products and also advancing regional integration.
