After a ten-year career in the HR function, mainly in CAC40 companies, as a specialist in International Mobility, Compensation and Benefits, Rachel decided in 2019 to follow her vocation, journalism. From then on, she worked in the media, communications and public relations.

However, Rachel has not abandoned her expertise in Human Resources.

Cette journée intense a réuni décideurs politiques, professionnels de santé, innovateurs et citoyens venus des deux continents.

Moderation of the press conference on the Europe-Africa Health Summit

Organized by the Ndona Charity association, under the patronage of the European Parliament and with the support of Senator Sophie Briante Guillemont and several representatives of African institutions, the Europe-Africa Health Summit aims to strengthen Europe-Africa cooperation on health issues.

WIA TALK 6 - Naomi Dick Kaba, Dr in Pharmacy and President of the NGO Hakili Nafaya Institute

➡️ Naomi is a Doctor of Pharmacy. She has worked for a number of major pharmaceutical groups, most recently Bayer.

➡️ Naomi also holds a Master's degree in Public Health and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Relations with a focus on advocacy and gender.

➡️ She recently set up her own NGO, Hakili Nafaya Institute, to raise awareness of African women's mental health issues and promote better mental health care in Africa.

➡️ During our discussion, Naomi presented her NGO's position on the mental health challenges facing African women.

She also shared with us her views on the strategic priorities in the field of mental health, on which public decision-makers should focus to support this process of popularization and reinforcement of access to care.

WIA TALK 5, Binta DIALLO, Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor

Binta is a chartered accountant and statutory auditor. She played a key role in the development of Orange Money and in setting up the audit functions within Orange Cote d'Ivoire, which covers 3 countries (Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Liberia).

The road to entrepreneurship and investment is not an easy one. It's true that there's still a lot to be improved in Gabon in terms of support for entrepreneurs, but there are also a lot of mechanisms in place. [...]

The 10th Rebranding Africa Forum was held in Brussels, Belgium, from October 17 to 19, 2024.

Recognized for its economic potential and considered to be one of the green lungs of the world in the Congo Basin, the Democratic Republic of Congo, represented by Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka and her delegation, was the featured country.
